Our production

Since the creation of our company, Gelateria Pinocchio has been synonymous for high quality.

The market climate has led artisanal ice cream producers to cut costs, however, our founder Gino Fratini has always focused on the best products and finest ingredients; carefully chosen by Mr. Fratini, these ingredients come directly from the best areas and producers around the world:

Our vanilla comes directly from Otaheite, since this is considered by experts to be the best quality vanilla and the most expensive in the world.

The strawberries we use are the Senga Sengana variety, grown in southern Italy. They have a strong flavor and are both bright red on the inside and out.

The squeezed lemons come directly from Sorrento, a perfect climate for this type of citrus. The outstanding quality of the extract is possible thanks to preparation techniques that do not change the organoleptic characteristics of the juice and are not mixed with the essential oils from the skin.

Hazelnuts are selected directly from the plantations of the Piedmont, Cortemilia area. They are roasted and ground without any additives using the latest machinery in order to obtain a top quality hazelnut paste, 100% pure.

The pistachio nuts come from the Phoenician region, an area on the same latitude as Sicily, the most suitable climate for this produce. The nut paste is produced in the same way as hazelnuts, without using any additives, so we believe we have the best pistachios in the world.

The fresh milk and cream used in the making of our ice cream comes from dairies in Piedmont, specifically the Stura Valley. We believe that this area of production gives excellent quality for dairy products.
